L’Art de Vivre Aux Etats-Unis in Washington, DC
with
Patti Ravenscroft, Trip Leader
Washington, D.C.

For the very first time, Patti Ravenscroft, founder and president of Les Liaisons Delicieuses, is offering her French (and American) compatriots an inside opportunity to experience L’Art de Vivre aux Etats-Unis in the Nation’s beautiful Capital. Our French friends are masters of living well, but I promise you that we, too, enjoy L’Art de Vivre from the gastronomic, social, cultural and historical perspectives.

Join us for 6 delightful and delicious days in Washington, D.C., where we will be wined and dined in the finest restaurants and private homes, feasting on the bounties of summer. We will enjoy Chesapeake Bay blue crabs, sweet corn, succotash, clam chowder, pork barbecue, blueberry and pecan pies, and endless other local, seasonal specialties.

We will stay at Washington’s premier hotel, The Willard Intercontinental, minutes from the Capitol, White House, and countless remarkable museums. Our trip will include private tours of The Phillips Collection (Renoir’s ’Boating Party’), and Hillwood (Marjorie Merriweather Post’s home and her collections of French and Russian decorative arts, now a museum) as well as some exceptional opportunities for shopping!!!

One evening, we will "Dine Around" in downtown Washington, enjoying the very best of 3 restaurants, all within walking distance of the Willard. Patti Ravenscroft and her French speaking co-leader will accompany the group and provide simultaneous translation into French.
